Nepal is suffering paradoxical thinking related to investment. Commercial banks providing as low as 2% pa interest on public savings. Industries average profit yield is not more than 10% pa.
Because of bigger numbers of financial institutions are mushrooming up in the financial market because the industrial sector has number of hassles like labor problem and market coverage my multinationals. Newly groomed financial institutions are attracting savers offering as high as 15.5% pa.
Think about it. Why a lazy investor will take tension by opening industries in such situation ? By this way we are welcoming inflation to the economy. The need is to break the paradox of investment is growing up as a real challenge in Nepal.
